Maximize/Restore Freezes Mouse - 05-02-2007, 05:46 PM

Windows XP Pro, IE6.

Pressing the window buttons to Maximize and/or Restore the visitor tracking window freezes the mouse momentarily. It does not appear to crash and the app resumes after about three seconds but it is "disturbing" and indicates some type of programming error as no other Windows application pauses like this...

This is with about 20+ active visitors.

Cliff.

Thanks. I'll take a look. I've got an idea about what it is.

Please check the latest build at http://forums.kayako.com/showpost.ph...8&postcount=43 and tell me if it resolves this problem.

Thanks,

Unfortunately, no difference. I'm running 3.1.1.11 STABLE...

The exact scenario is Window is not minimized or maximized... it is just a regular windowed application. I press the window Maximize button in the upper right corner of the window. The mouse freezes for three seconds. The mouse resumes working and the window maximizes.

This problem does NOT occur if I use the Minimize, Maximize, Restore options under the alt+space menu...

Additionally, any action involving the embedded IE such as clicking on a link, going back, forward, refresh, etc. pauses the mouse for a brief moment... this does not happen if using IE outside of the SupportSuite winapp and I've never seen this happen in another app... it's as if there's some looping code that shouldn't be there...

Cliff.
