Mouse Over Information - 27-08-2007, 12:25 AM

Does anybody notice that if you mouse over the icon in the system tray it will say XX visitors on site even though the icon itself shows that no one is visiting? To replicate, shut down the program completely, restart the program, mouse over (it will say "online"). Then have someone visit the site (or do it yourself) so that your app registers that there is a visitor on site (the icon will turn green with a "1"). Then leave the site (the icon should go back to the white with green circle). Mouse over and notice that it says "1 visitor on site".

I'm assuming this is a bug but I wanted to see if anyone else notices this.

Just tried to replicate it and couldn't.

Maybe the hover over is a real time check where as the number in the box is only done every 15 seconds or whatever you have the server check set to.

I just tried it again on another computer and even after 10min went by after leaving the site, it still says "1 visitor on site".

Can anyone else replicate this? It happened for over 1 day.

Siora, I've never seen this particular problem before, but it would be helpful if you could produce a screenshot showing the main window with no visitors and the tray tip showing something different.

Here you go Ryan. As you can see from the bottom it says that there is 1 visitor on site but there is no one there.

This is still happening even with the latest build. Any idea when this will be resolved or investigated?

I have fixed this issue and it will be in the next release. However, since it isn't really a major issue, I don't think it merits a bugfix release on its own.

Thanks for identifying this problem.

I totally agree but I was wondering if it was ever going to be included since it hasn't been included in many of the past releases.

Thanks Roger.
