New Visitor Alert - 10-08-2007, 02:44 PM

Whenever a new visitor comes to my site I get a pop-up alert which is great. However, if that visitor changes pages within my site the alert keeps popping up and it is annoying. Is this a bug?

Also, there should be an option to turn off pop-up alerts just like there is for the sound alerts.

It doesn't for me. It is only supposed to popup when they first come to the site. Have you tried this on other machines? Also, are you using the latest build (http://hotfix.kayako.com/winapp/Kaya...E-3.1.1.36.exe)?

I am using the latest build but it is actually my developer that I notice it happening with. Maybe its the way he is logging in. Maybe he keeps logging in and out to test who knows...let me play around with it.

Okay I just discovered this:

1. Visitor comes to my site -- Alert pops up
2. Visitor logs in -- Alert pops up
3. Visitor navigates through logged in site - no pop-ups

Why are there seperate alerts for coming to the site and also when they've logged in?

You are talking about logging into SupportSuite rather than opening a chat session right? If so, thats a bug.

Yup, logging into support suite.

Can you replicate that?
