Put an icon/widget on client interface of Supportsuite

Hi,

There are some questions being put by me:

1. I want to add an icon/widget of a website on the homepage of Supportsuite of ours.

2. I want to add an icon of supportsuite on my website so that our client can contact us while visiting our website. I can create a link there but it is better if it does let me know how to create a widget of this supportsuite and what are html/php codes of this to put this on my site.

3. Live response is still experiencing the problem of disconnection, is there any stable or reliable version to use?

You can add a widget by editing the widgets.php file which you can find in the /includes/Widgets directory of the software. Instructions on how to add a new widget can be found within the file.

Actually I don't know how to create a widget. Please let me know.

Hi Brij,

The instructions on how to do this are in the file supportskins mentioned - /includes/Widgets/widget.php - it simply involves copy and pasting a section of PHP code.

If you would like to give me some example data:

• Widget title
• Widget image url
• Widget link url
• Widget description

I can edit the code for you and tell you where to place it in this file.

Follow the instructions in the file and add your module something like $_widgets[MODULE_WHATEVER]["title"] = "Title".

It should work
