States Online help is available but not! - 21-09-2006, 12:00 AM

I have winapp loaded and it displays me as an available for online support under status. When I go to the user area of supportsuite it states "Live Support Online", but the department I am in states it is offline. What do I need to do to correct this?

Is the supportsuite manual the only place to get documentation on Liveresponse?

Does the status yet display as offline if you try a complete refresh of your browser -- Ctrl + F5?

Same issue here - 27-09-2006, 06:27 PM

I've got myself and one other person online, able to chat with one another. When I click on the button on the site (and yes, I've refreshed it more than once), after filling out name and email, I get the "not available, leave a message" bit.

Any pointers as to how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Found my own problem and fixed it.

LiveSupport requires a department assigned to it - since I'd just upgraded from eSupport that didn't exist. Created a new department, put someone in it, and everything worked out fine.
