I was having problems where it would still say 'Online' however it had exactly forced Offline. When I went to close LiveResponse it wouldn't close and would max out the CPU. I tried this on two seperate computers. I changed a couple php settings in the php.ini (basically followed the settings on my demo site's php.ini). This didn't seem to fix it. I then changed the refresh time from 15 seconds to 30 seconds and it's been running fine for the past 12 hours.

I'll keep you posted

We set the refresh visitor data to 30 seconds and the Kayako winapp ran all weekend long. Once we set the refresh visitor data to 15 seconds the winapp locked up after 15 minutes or so

Yes, that helps but not a very good solution as it delays the visitor data. What kind of connection are you on? I have a stable but quite slow connection (256kbps)

We have a DSL link 6mbit / 684kbps. It's not a bandwidth issue, either on our side or the T1 that the server is sitting on...

Very well. I read somewhere that they haven't modified the network code since a long time. Then it must be some kind of issue with the Winapp.

We also have this Problem and checked all Version up to 3.04.31
They all give the same error.

Is anyone here who have an older working Version and can make it downloadable?

Thanx

You are more than welcome to try one of the older builds, but I'm very doubtful that it will change anything in this regard.

You can find an archive of all the old builds here http://hotfix.kayako.com/winapp/

Ryan, any idea what's causing the disconnections. I had concluded that it was my ISP but now people with high speed connections are also facing the problem.

Which fix do you have? If 3.04.31, then what do you have in Default Session Inactivity Expiry?

The option is in Admin CP >> Settings >> Security >> Default Session Inactivity Expiry

Default Session Inactivity Expiry
Time after which an idle session will be deleted from the system, This value is in Seconds.

Session Inactivity Expiry for Site Visitors
Time after which Visitors (Tracked via Live Support Module) will be marked as idle and their sessions deleted. It is recommended that this value not be increased to keep the server load in check.
