WinApp - New Ticket Alerts - 01-10-2006, 11:35 PM

Hi,

Under the Alerts option in the WinApp is an option to alert on new tickets which has never worked or being removed if no longer to be supported.

I think it would be great to have this function working so that we can get alerts on new tickets with just the WinApp (bit like the un-registered version of InstaAlert) but when clicking on the alert it opens the ticket in the WinApp.

Neil,

That alert option is there erroneously, and we do not plan to support alerts in the WinApp. Alerts will exclusively be available through InstaAlert only.

Hi Ryan,

That is a shame, seems silly to be able to manage tickets throguh the WinApp if using SupportSuite but to not be able to have the alerts through the one app and have them take you to the ticket in the WinApp.
