Connection Issue - 06-02-2006, 07:02 PM

It appears to me that in the latest build if the application can't connect to the server on an attempt it won't attempt to connect again and "logs me out" of the InstaAlert program.

Hi phpcoder,

That functionality is as-designed. If the program can't fetch ticket data it reverts to the "offline" state.

That is stupid though...

What happens if the error happens when I'm not sitting at my desk or I don't notice the error or that InstaAlert isn't active? I liked the version for eSupport v2 where you got the popup but the program continued.

Yea, I gotta agree with this. InstaAlert should automatically try again in another x amount of minutes (depending on what your refresh rate is set as).

Would one of you be so kind to open a flyspray task in my name for this?
