If you own SupportSuite, do u need to pay to use InstaAlert? - 03-01-2006, 01:17 PM

Cos when I run the InstaAlert setup it ask for a serial number.

Where to get this serial number?

If we want to use the pro version, do we pay once or do we have to pay for each staff?

The Pro version licenses are for per machine/staff.

The standard version, is not chargeable - it will alert you when new tickets are received etc, but you have to pay for the Pro version.

In this version, you are shown a ticket tree, which lists each department and shows you how many tickets there are in each status, e.g. open, closed.

If you want this, you have to go to the Kayako store (http://www.kayako.com/buynow.php) and purchase the InstaAlert Pro.

Once you have done this, go to the members area (https://members.kayako.net/) and you will then need to copy the Device ID from your copy of InstaAlert and paste it in. You will then be given an unlock code, which you need to paste back in to your copy of InstaAlert.

I want to know what happens if we upgrade or change our laptop in future? Cos the device number will be different.
