Hello, Would be nice if when you clicked on one of the departments / status' / ect in swift it automatically logged you into the staff area rather than having to login. It should log you in with the username and password set in the InstaAlert settings window. Have posted this in flyspray too at http://bugs.kayako.net/index.php?do=details&id=1207 Best Regards, Craig Brass Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

I would like to see this too, seems a little silly having to re-login to the staffCP having clicked a link in InstaAlert which we're already logged into. UK cPanel/WHM hosting accounts http://ukwebsolutionsdirect.co.uk |

Best way to do it really would be to allow Kayako's core to accept MD5ed passwords (say &username=craigbrass&md5password=5f4dcc3b5aa765d61 d8327deb882cf99) and then Ryan's job would be easy, just a case of putting a few variables in. This would make the method secure as MD5 cannot be decrypted. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

I think all windows development on InstaAlert / SyncWorks / WinApp have ceased and it being focused on Kayako Mobile. Wouldn't hold your breath for any time soon. Plus, Varun is busy on more important things aparently, shame ![]() Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

Uhh, Thats definately not true, We have hired another developer (Roger Clark) who is looking into LR (We are adding complete SIP support to it). Ryan is actively looking into IA, SW and KM. In fact, the next stable build due the coming week will have the new rewritten SyncWorks with it. Regards, Varun Shoor -------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh, VERY glad to hear that. I was told a new developer was considering being hired but nothing seamed to come of it and Ryan told me he was focusing on Kayako Mobile until the beta was out. Glad to hear things are moving forward tho. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |
