Can I just point out that https://support.kayako.com/index.php...leid=202&nav=0 is wrong. It is PER MACHINE licensed, not per user. It SHOULD be per user licensed but I have given up fighting for that to happen.

Hi Craig

Thanks for pointing that out, I will correct it. However, you are wrong that it should be user based - it is machine based.

I am saying I keep suggesting it SHOULD be machine based to make it easier for the end users.

Well, that is an opinion of yours (and a suggestion that may work for you) and the suggestion has been considered before. However, it doesn't mean it is the one that "should" be implemented.

The machine-based licensing works for a majority of our customers; when InstaAlert is licensed to one machine, an unlimited number of users of that machine can use InstaAlert on that machine.

This is particulary the case in InstaAlert V4 which will support multiple support desks.
