Hi Jai, I'll talk to a developer about this - there may be a bug in InstaAlert not looking up the (new in Vista) correct registry key containing the default browser. -------------------------------------------------------------------

Well I suppose it is personal preference. Some Kayako customers prefer it to popup on their screen without cluttering their email inbox, other people like it to come in with their emails. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

InstaAlert is popular because it alerts you to new tickets and replies, and allows one-click access to that ticket or reply. In InstaAlert Pro, you also have the option of the department and status overview, and are able to access each directly from the desktop. -------------------------------------------------------------------

jaigupta, have you checked on the Vista Control Panel which software opens the protocol http? go to Control Panel ->Default Programs->Associate a file type or protocol with a program and then select Firefox as the default for opening http and https Email & MSN: andres[at]dewak.com Skype: andres.dewak Dewak: Kayako Development, Consultancy and Support http://www.dewak.com |
