Kayako Mobile SQL Error - 30-05-2008, 03:54 PM

With the latest release of kayako mobile 3.2.0.0 I get a bunch of SQL errors when I try and sync. We are running support suite 3.20.02 on the server. The errors are all like the following.

INSERT INTO customfielddata VALUES (12547,,,'') : near ",": syntax error

I tried to open a bug report for this, but the bug tracker tells me I am logged in then returns me to the ticket list and I am logged out still.

This happens to me. You have to tick the stay logged in box. Jamie won't accept that Arctic sucks and move to a better solution though - took me about an hour after purchasing it to realise it.

Anyway, I suggest you email ryan.lederman ]at[ kayako.com who will be able to help you.

Hi Ryan,

I've prompted Ryan to this thread and he'll get back to you shortly. With regards to the bug tracker, you need to check the 'Remember Me' box - sorry about the problems with the tracker, I will look into fixing it myself this weekend.

@ Craig; I am not sure where you have come up with that. I said that Arctic has its problems, but will suffice for now, while we work on things that we regard a higher priority; i.e. the fixing of bugs and adding of features requested by our customers.

Sorry, I possibly misread at the time. Maybe I should get one of my guys to develop a bug reporting module for Kayako. *mulls the idea*

Open up /modules/tickets/functions_mobile.php and look at line 422:

if (is_object($val["object"]) && !empty($val["object"]->ticket["ticketid"]))

Block comment out this entire if-statement /* ... code here ... */ and the problem will go away.

It is due to a half-implemented feature that was not meant to be released and has been commented out in the current build.
