KayakoMobile is designed for Windows Mobile Pocket PC edition, both version 5 and 2003.

The reason for SmartPhone edition not being supported is that the screen on those particular devices is too small to properly display the KayakoMobile graphical interface.

If you wish to use KayakoMobile, you should invest in a PDA. We suggest any device with QVGA or VGA resolution, and Windows Mobile 5 (Pocket PC edition). The Palm Treo 700w and I-Mate JasJar are both viable options, as well as many PDAs from HP and Dell (Axim line).

Hi Jeremy,

The PPC2003 build is very near. The only thing left for me to do is write special code to make up for the fact that PPC2003 doesn't have the WM5 menu bar system at the bottom of the screen.

Regards,

Thanks for the update, I have been using it on my WM5 ppc, but my techs have ppc2003 they would use it more than I, expect to get alot of feed back once we get this version.

I'll be looking for the PPC2003 version also. We run Verizon XV6600's (which go by about a dozen different names).

I would recommend Verizon, T-Mobile or Sprint.

what about the new samsung blackjack. That is running smartphone edition but the quality is good enough to browse the web. I can open modernbill and work fine in it. Any chance of kayako making it work for smartphone?

We do have plans to make a Smartphone version of KayakoMobile in the future. How long off that is, I can't say...
