KayakoMobile on notebook/laptop pc ?

Hello dears:

Is possible to run KayakoMobile on a notebook/laptop pc ?

This is because people have not a live connection on his notebook 24 hours but it could be very usefull to connect one time, download all the tickets and then work on it on the road, then, simply go to an internet access point when possible somewhere on the road and upload all the work, and so.

This is for people who have a notebook when traveling but haven't a 24 hours wirelless internet access on the notebook, like in most countrys.

Do you know if we can run some kind of WindowsMobile emulator on a pc windows based computer to be able to run KayakoMobile on a pc ?

Hi mblendinger, as far I know, it is possible to run KayakoMobile on a notebook/laptop pc. In fact, I have used it for past few months. Initially, I also have connectivity problem with my laptop not detecting Kayako Mobile, but one of my pals advised me to download .dll patch for patch. After updating my pc with this, it is working fine. You can also try in this way.Best of luck for you.

Hi,

You would only be able to run KM on your laptop currently if it runs Windows CE. However, we do have a KayakoMobile for PC in production as was stated in this thread. I don't have an estimate for release, but expect it to be about a year out.

Sounds good. I imagine a lot more people will find a use for that that for the Kayako Mobile for PDA to be honest. Most people carry laptops these days so would be handy where a net connection isn't available.
