Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 - 10-10-2006, 06:56 AM

I get the invalid CE setup file error on my Siemens SX66 phone.

Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition

Now I know the screen is large enough and if this edition of the windows software is not supported could you tell me if it is planned on being supported in the future?

It is a great phone and I would love to use this software on it.

I see some references to some other versions in another thread but not sure if this is the same thing as the others and even if it is could you elaborate on your plans.

Thanks

Are you sure you aren't trying to install the WM5 version? (i.e. you're using SetupPPC2003.cab)

Yes I am sure.

I even tried copying the .cab file directly over and running it to no avail. Same error.

Thanks

Can you tell me the exact version of the phone's Operating System by going to the system information area in settings?

You do realize KayakoMobile will NOT run on Smartphones as of yet, correct?

I have confirmed that our setup file is corrupted. I'm going to fix it within the afternoon and I will personally post the fix here.

Thank you for using Kayako

Thanks for the update Ryan.

Just to complete the discussion.

Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Version 4.21.1088 (Build 15005.1.2.1)

Isn't the smartphone different than above. True this is a Phone but not quite the same thing (at least I don't believe it is).
