Exclamation Problem with KayakoMobile - 15-10-2006, 06:08 PM

When I sync, it says:

Failed to parse XML
Error: A <ticket> tag was not properly closed

Which version of SupportSuite are you running, not which version of KayakoMobile

i have the same problem on the newest WM 2003 Version of Kayako Mobile with eSupport 3.10.02. i tryed also some older version for WM2003 but always the same error like the thread starter here.

Are all of your tickets in English, or are they in another language? I have a theory that the language may be the cause...

... no, all tickets are in german and with "umlauts" like ä ö ü.

I also changed on every point i can find the charset to ISO-8859-1.

iam a little bid sad, because i choosed kayako esupport, because this was the only software where we can sync with outlook
and we can handle the tickets via software for PDA / MDA but now it is impossible. :-(

This sounds like a language/encoding issue - Ryan will get back to you as soon as possible on Monday (the office is closed during the weekend) and will look to trace the issue.
