Confusion over "Team" vs "Group" in v11 manual - 11-09-2007, 08:03 AM

I'm running eSupport hosted, and under Staff it appears to use the term Group instead of the term Team, which is what the manual has. Personally, I prefer Team, since Group is already in use on the user side, making things somewhat confusing. But which is going to be the actual implementation? Is the software behind the docs, or vice-versa?

I think it used to be called Teams but was changed to Groups. This is why confusion started happening.

Well, I hope they at least update the docs! And perhaps put in a caution about confusing the two!

Hi Mel,

Thanks for pointing this out. The documents will be updated as soon as possible.
