Auto message after ticket submit for specific department - 01-07-2008, 06:47 PM

When a visitor submits a ticket for a specific department we need to immediately show an important message instructing them right then and there so that there is no confusion. We don't want to wait on an auto-reply (which we also need help setting up) just in case they don't get the email.

How would we go about setting up that alert message and the auto-reply by email?

For auto reply, you need to set the email parser as explained in the manual. For the alert message, you can do so by editing the submitticketconfirm template.
