Client interface-less Kayako - 02-07-2008, 01:50 AM

Hello,

I want to use Kayako just to organize my staff without any download/news/knowledgebase.

How can I completely disable the client interface? I don't want client to have the option to login to the client and see tickets and other options (news, downloads etc).

The only way to access support is using his email client.

Thank you

I think just removing the index.php would work in the root directory.

Or, if you didn't want to modify the application at all you could simply add a .htaccess file to your root directory that denies all access to any files within that directory (however, maky sure it is not a recursive denial - i.e. you can still access your /staff/, /admin/, /includes/ folders etc.).

hello,

the problem is not that. the problem is that auto respond system gives the client a link to access its ticket.

Oh. Just remove the link. Admin CP -> Templates -> Manage Templates -> Tickets and edit the ones starting with email_
