Delete unassigned tickets - 07-08-2007, 03:51 PM

Is it possible to delete unassigned tickets (tickets that does not belong to any department - due to deletion of department)?

This is my steps:
Had a department.
Testet it with tickets
Deleted department
Tickets still exist but can't be deletet

Is it possible to delelte those tickets somehow?

Try assigning them a new department and then deleting it right away. Or you can probably do this directly from the DB but I'm not sure how.

the ting is that I cannot even access the tickets - if I go to the user (that I know sent them) I can see them in tickets from his account but if I click it I get this:
ERROR: Unable to load the ticket. You either do not have permissions to the department the ticket resides in or the ticket does not exist

here is instruction on how to get the ticket back or delete it.

Delete Lost Ticket
-------------
1) Open phpmyadmin
2) Browse swtickets table
3) select the X aka Delete button next to the ticket.

Restore Lost Ticket
---------------------
1) launch phpmyadmin
2) open the swtickets table
3) Find a non-lost ticket and find the department id.
4) Now find the lost ticket and click on the penil aka edit button next to the ticket to edit it. and change the department id to the department id from step 3.

There you just restored the Lost Ticket to the same department as the non-lost ticket you used for a reference.
