Disabling LiveSupport during installation

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to install Kayako Supportsuite 3.11.01 but my installation fails during livesupport installation (step 2 of 3). As i can not debug errors (can not turn on errors on php.ini due to internal policy) and as i do not need Live support, i'd like to disable its installation to let me completing the others components installation.

I tried to comment the lines

$_MODULES[MODULE_LIVESUPPORT] = dirname(__FILE__)."/../modules/livesupport/livesupport.php";

define("MODULE_LIVESUPPORT", "livesupport");

but didn't worked. Any other solution?

What is the error you are receiving? Also have you tried contacting Kayako Support from your Kayako Members Area account?

I opened a ticket but i still get no answare.

I got no error back, just blank page, because I can not enable php Errors in php.ini (internal policy). Probably the problem is caused by a low memory limit in php configuration but I can not set it higher still because of sys admin policies (!!).

For this reason I'd like to disable just the LiveSupport component before installation, as I'm sure that the other components will install without any error.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 4194304 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /srv/web/htdocs/trackset.it/support/modules/livesupport/setup.php on line 299

obviously this refers to the memory_limit value which is set to 4 MB. I know this is quite low but this is necessary due to security policy and we can not get it higher.

Making various tentatives i found out that just the installation of the Live Support requires more then 4MB of memory, so I'd like to install the suite without the LiveSupport.

So please tell me if it is possible to do this operation.

unfortunately it is not possible to disable that component during installation

You will have to the memory_limit in your php.ini. I do not see any other option.
