Display knowledgebase based on language selection

SupportSuite 3.20.02 Stable

When a user chooses a language for the site, how can I make the knowledgebase show only articles for that particular language? In this case I want to have a knowledgebase in english and in swedish.

You will have to edit the language select dropdown to re-direct your client to a specific template group when he changes the language.

Excellent, is there a guide or any further instruction available how I go about editing the dropdown that you know of? I appreciate the help.

I do not believe there is any such guide. Just edit the footer template where the drop down appears replacing the default code with your code.

I have tried editing the code with partial success. Could someone please post some example code on how to make templates change depending on what language is selected?
I have tried with some code I found in Mutlilingual Knowledge Base But I am not able to switch language back and forth, once I have changed the language it stays the same...
