01-07-2008, 10:43 AM
Hi, I am using the button code to display online and offline logo. This works fine on http pages however on https pages it throws an error of secure/nonsecure content. Upon investigating kayako is referencing the online/offline gif via http://path to gif/ instead of https on a secure page. How do I get kayako to reference it as a https? Thanks Paul |

Hi Craig, Thanks for your reply that has sorted the image https problem. Although the secure/non secure content warning still remains. I can see for some reason it is also referencing the following although not displaying them on the page! http://www.pacwebhosting.com/sdesk/t...pportsuite.gif and http://www.pacwebhosting.com/sdesk/t...ault/space.gif Any ideas where that may be? Thanks Paul *EDIT - I think it must be referenced in the js somewhere |

The only way to fix this issue is that you host your helpdesk on a secured location as well. It is on our own server and the domain works fine with its SSL certificate it is not a hosted kayako solution. Thanks Paul *EDIT - I am trying to use the html button for live help on SSL secured pages on my website for example https://www.pacwebhosting.com/pacweb...p?a=add&pid=29 However the first problem was that the URL for the image used for the online offline was referenced in the javascript that the button uses as http:// Craigbrass then pointed me in the right direction and I managed to sort that out. However the javascript then references 2 images it does not even display! one is the support suite logo and the other is a space.gif as it is within the javascript I can not alter it which is a shame as they are referenced as http:// :-( What I am now going to do is just make the whole kayako run on https:// for the time being. Thanks Paul | |
