Hide Staff's Names - 19-07-2007, 07:49 PM

How do I hide the staffs names from the customers - I want in the backend to see who responded to the ticket, but all I want the customer to see is "Customer Support"

Is there a way to do this?

Both - All I want the customer to see is that its from "Customer Support" when they are in the web interface, and its from "Customer Support(support@domain.com)" in the emails. However in the admin area I still want to be able to see the names of the persons taking care of it.

My little adventure with trying to mask internal departments may have enough clues in it to get you going.

Private (internal) departments are showing up in the client portal!

Features I need asap:
1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.

I think this would be possible by editing the software templates using if else clause.

You just need to go into the staff area templates, find the correct code for it and then just change the variable for staff to like "Support Team" and do the same in the email template.
