Hiding Fields, company Qs - 08-07-2008, 05:46 PM

Hello,

I am currently using the trial version (incase relevant) and need to hide custom fields from users when they post tickets. How can I go about doing this?

Also, where is Kayako based? What time is their support active?

You will have to edit the submittickets template to remove the custom fields.

Kayako are based in India and their support is active for about 18-20 hours a day, Monday-Friday.

thanks for the info.

Im sorry the question should have been more clear, I want to hide SOME of the custom fields, not all of them.

I do not think this would be possible unless you add the custom fields as "custom".

how do I go about doing this? I'm confused as to what you mean so a how to would really help here

Or as an alternative solution. I can create the field I want in "Staff Ticket Creation" but it does not automatically link the field to the ticket, I can manually do it with "edit", "Link With Custom Field Group".

How can I automatically link all tickets in my department with this custom field group?
