How can I get notified of an expired contract? - 18-09-2007, 09:43 PM

I utilize this software for helpdesk calls from users of the companies we support with software and hardware Maintenance. I put the company in the contacts, I add the users email address to the contacts (can only add 3 and this is the only field I know of that attaches a user to the company contact) The companies when installed get a year of free hardware and software Maintenance. After the year they will need to renew their Maintenance agreement for another year or be charged hourly for support.

1. Is there a way to notify when the maintenance has lapsed say on a weekly or monthly basis? I am thinking of using the birthday field if I can run some sort of list that will show me who next month needs to be billed.

2. If they choose to be billed hourly how could I see that when creating a ticket and how can a ticket with billable time in it be xferred to Billing when I have completed or closed it with out them having to dig through tickets? I am attempting a view with time worked by date type of thing but wonder if there is a better way that I am over looking?

3. Is there a way to add more e-mail feilds to the contact?

I am not sure but someone is developing a pay per support module which may help it maybe what you need.
