How do I change the default language of the Client Support Center?

Hi!

Im a running a webpage in English and in German. Because of that I have imported the german language pack and now I can choose between English and German on the Support Center page. Anyway the default language is still English and the use has to selegt German an his own.

Is there any way to control wether the Support Center starts in German or in English? I would like to have something like that:

German Webpage: www.mypage.com/helpdesk/index.php?lang=de
==> Support Center starts in German

German Webpage: www.mypage.com/helpdesk/index.php?lang=en
==> Support Center starts in English

Is this possible? Or would it be possible to select the language automaticly using the HTTP Header information?

Admin CP -> Templates -> Manage Groups -> Settings on the group you wish to change -> Default Language

There I can change the default language of the Support Center, but that was not exactly what I was looking for (maybe the topic of post of was a little bit confusing...)

--> German customers shell see the Support Center in German
--> English customers shell see the Support Center in English

Try using the languageid option in the URL and check if that works. Something like:

(Still figuring out best practice for multi language support. 1 language per template group, or 2 language in 1 template group. I want to send Ackowledgemail in right language)
