How do I disable the email feature explained below: - 16-07-2007, 04:19 PM

If I send an email directly to my support email address, I get this message returned:

Your ticket has not been accepted into the system. You are required to register at the following URL to submit any issues via Email: mysite.com

Once registered, you will be able to submit any issues directly by sending us Email. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
I don't think I want this. Is there a way to disable this email and allow emails to be sent directly to my support email by a user. I know this defeats the purpose of the software, but I would like to know if it is an option.

I guess. I don't understand how the whole "queue" thing works or what its purpose is.

an email queue is a way to intercept an email in the specified mailbox and to transform it to a ticket (or to a ticket response). go to the admin pannel to remove the queue if you want to have your mailbox like a normal one.

If you just want to change or remove what is returned in the rejection, you can do so in the Admin CP, under languages.

Search for:

regemailrejectintro
regemailrejectsub

Features I need asap:
1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.

I've got a similar problem. I can change the phrases (regemailrejectintro, regemailrejectsub) but i cant remove the URL. I have removed <a href="<{$swiftpath}>"><{$swiftpath}></a> in the template email_noregistration but nothing happens ...

You probably need to rebuild your cache. Any time you change a template, it's a good idea to do this. Admin CP > Diagnostics > Rebuild Cache. You could also use Admin CP > Templates > Diagnostics > Diagnose Smarty Template Engine Errors to see if you made any mistakes editing the template.
