How do I setup auto responders?

Hello, I want my users to receive an auto response email on ticket creation, and possibly also on certain events like a ticket being assigned to a different group / staff member. Is this possible? Should it be happening by default?

Hi,

Autoresponders to clients emailing the system should be enabled by default.

Alerts to your staff have to be enabled, this can be done in the staff interface under "manage tickets">>"Alerts"

Thanks Josan, it turns out I must have had an email issue which is now fixed. Is working in the way I hoped it would.
