How do I switch staffonline.gif to https?

I can't seem to find the line where I'd change the javascript located here:

/visitor/index.php?_m=livesupport&_a=htmlcode&departmentid= 0

to reference an https version of our staffonline.gif rather than the http version. It's causing mixed content warnings on checkout.

Any ideas?

You need to edit the chatimage template (Admin CP -> Templates -> Manage Templates -> Live Support). Just replace <{$themepath}> with the exact URL.

Pretty sure that would then kick out a warning on the non SSL pages.

No it won't. Example being http://www.craigbrasssystems.com/test.html which has image https://www.craigbrasssystems.com/test.png in it.
