How to use IMAP SSL, and SMTP TLS

I am using email hosting from google and it requires TLS and SSL connection to SMTP and IMAP server.

How can I configure kayako to fetch and send email from secured connections?

Are there any updates to this? This is something that I will need to be able to implement as well.
