Question include a link to the online ticket status in all the piped email replies? - 21-09-2007, 06:36 PM

How do I setup kayako suite to automatically include the link:

Quote:
You can check the status of or reply to this Ticket online at:
http:// supportsuite.url/support/etc...
In all of the staff replies so customers know they can either reply via email or check the ticket status online with every message sent?

I see that I can include a signature on all piped emails, but I don't know the syntax to automatically include the ticket URL in the emails.

You can do this by editing the email_staffreply template or just enabling HTML emails (outgoing) for your helpdesk under Settings > CPU Optimization & Server Settings

What exactly do I put in the email_staffreply template to get the ticket status link to show up?

Something like :-
Code:
<{$swiftpath}>index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=<{$ticket[ticketid]}>
will work for text emails and :-
Code:
<a href="<{$swiftpath}>index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=<{$ticket[ticketid]}>">Click Here</a>
for HTML emails.
