Thanks. Worked.

I have another question. Is it possible to add something to a particular department such as a acknowledgment to terms of service?

Here's what I want to do. We're creating a hidden department for cancellations. We want the customers to "agree" to our cancellation policy before they click submit. Instead of a link we want to post our cancellation policy in the custom fields area (or anywhere on that screen)

Is that possible?

Custom Fields would be good for this (Admin CP -> Custom Fields). You could create a check box with a bit of text surrounding it.

Thanks, but I've been playing with that section and can't seem to figure it out. I know how to use CSS somewhat and I've gone through the manual and forum. Can't see where in the css it needs to be added and what. I found the customfields area but what do I enter in?

<input type="textarea" name="cancel" etc.....? How does it know which group to go into?

You don't need to use templates to do this. You simply create a custom field group ticking the Cancellations department then add a field to this group and it will work.

No, sorry. I don't think I was clear. I'm trying to add a custom field of our own. It will basically be a field that has a radio box (yes or no) and our **** policy above it. That way they need to read and accept it before continuing.

You can add radio buttons using Custom Fields.

Right, but, above the radio I want a space to type text. With what's set in Helm it shows up in the left column. I need to to the right.

If you are only using one custom field, you could add the text above where it includes the custom fields inside the submit ticket template.

Well where <{displaytemplate name="customfields"}> is (inside the tickets -> submitticket template), just put the text above.
