LiveResponse Force Registration - 07-07-2007, 03:25 AM

Hey Guys.

Im just wondering if anyone has figured a way to make it so that only users who are registered and logged in can access and see the liveresponse (the livechat)?

You can edit the navbar template and wrap the Live Support javascript code using if and else to check if the user is registered or not. That way Live Support will be available to Registered/Looged in client only.

go to the admin pannel>templates/manage template/general/navbar
look for
<{if $settings[ls_displaystatus] == 1}>
replace by
<{if $_USER[loggedin] == true && $settings[ls_displaystatus] == 1}>

Jamie actually solved this as well a while ago for me and is in the modifications and addon section. Take a look there if you can't get Antoine's code to work.
