I already have a login page that has only the registration or login components displayed. Then after a registered user logs in, the other icons (knowledge base, submit tickets) show up. We have separate template groups for each client. Is there a way to have one login page for all my clients, but after they login as a registered user they are taken to their own specified submit ticket page? |

Usually thats how it works. Your clients can start by accessing your Support Center -- http://www.domain.com/support/index.php where they are showed the login box. They login using their access information after which they are forwarded to their assigned template groups. For this to work correctly you need to set the Users and the User Groups correctly. If your client users are not assigned to the correct User Groups, they will be logged into the default template group and not the one they should be forwarded to. Help. I am unable to get a registered user to automatically go to their designated group page upon login at the default page. I've successfully created several template groups and user groups specific to a template group, but when a registered user for group A logs in from the default page, they get an invalid username or password error message. They are only able to login via the specific group page index.php?group=A. What setting have I missed? |

This is a cookie issue. Try logging into the support centre with your most recent successful login. Once you are able to login, use the logout button. Now try logging in with a username/password to one of your other template groups. This happened to me when I was testing different templates and noticed that if I log into one template and close the window without logging out it would not allow me to log into my other template groups. I had to log in to the first template group, log out, and then I was good to go. |

Thanks Siora, you're right about cookies for switching from one group to another, but not in my situation. I had cleared out all cookies but it would not take me to the proper template group page upon logging in. Just to be sure I did try your suggestion and log out each time, but it still did not take me to the right page. My default page is domain.com - Get online with a domain name and web hosting My template group is domain.com - Get online with a domain name and web hosting Additional note: I have "After Logout Return To Default Template Group" set to No. My intent is for template group users to stay on their group page. |

Hi Siora, I tried setting Logout Return to YES, but it still didn't work. Setting to yes, takes a user back to the default page okay, but when the same user tries to log back into their group, he gets Invalid username or password. So far the only way a template group user can login is from their specific group page. What else can I check? |

Thats weird because I just logged into one template group, logged out, and then logged into another and both were successful. I have the "return to default template group" setting set to yes. Have you tried contacting support? Maybe they can log into your system to investigate. |

Have you verified that you have correctly assigned user groups to the correct template groups? |

Yes. Otherwise they would not be able to log into their group page, right? |
