Reverse order of posts in ticket display on client - 21-09-2007, 02:08 PM

I'd like to reverse the order of the posts being displayed in the client when a ticket is viewed, so the latest is at at the top.

Is there any way to do this in the settings?

I could modify the template, but whilst I could add a custom modifier to Smarty to do this, it doesn't look as if SmartLight supports custom modifiers, which makes it tricky...

Not only that, but Kayako uses Smarty-Light 2.1.0 (from Feb 2004) rather than TemplateLite 2.1.0 (from Jan 2007 - TemplateLite re-started from 1.0.0 in 2006) so it's seriously out of date, and I can't even use the {PHP} tags

Is there any reasons Kayako is using a 3 year out of date library?

The code for this will be in the PHP files rather than Smarty.

The reason for the using the older version of TemplateLite is because Swift (the Kayako framework) was started 4 years ago now and released 2 years ago now. These changes have happened since. I beleive they will be changing it for V4.

Isn't the order of ticket posts able to be changed in the AdminCP > Settings > Tickets > Display order for ticket posts ?
