There isn't an option to do this - you'll need to e-mail them manually, or modify the code to send an e-mail with the new password (which wouldn't be too hard to do: PHP: mail - Manual)

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like what I need to do - but not for the life of me can I see where or how. As admin there's nowhere to send a email/message to a staff member and I'm unsure what you mean by " PHP: mail - Manual"
