We're trying to set up the email address offline messages get sent to so when we respond, it has the correct email address and we know which department it was sent to. Example: Two different websites which we seperated into deparments (Dept. 1, Dept. 2) and a default address. Dept. 1 email: support@dept1.com Dept. 2 email: support@dept2.com Default address: default@generalmail.com I have administrator privileges, giving me access to all our deparments. If livehelp is offline and a visitor on Dept. 1 sends a message from the chat window, the message is accessible from SupportSuite and is also sent to the default address so we know the message came in. Problem is that if I/we respond via SupportSuite the address sending from will show the default address. If I/we respond from our mail client (outlook) there is know way of knowing which department the user's message came from and we can't change the sending address accordingly. We would like to be able to adjust the settings so that neither department correlates with one another and do not want to use the default address. The only way I can figure is creating a different staff user for each department having the users email assigned appropriately so that when logging in under that user, any messages replied to shows the different [correct] email address. Any ideas? |
