Question Ticket Settings: Send Complete History in Staff Replies? - 27-08-2007, 08:25 PM

Admin CP > Settings > Tickets

(A) General Ticket Settings, 2nd row:

Send Complete History in Staff Replies?

Include the entire history of the ticket to date in replies sent by staff members. This does add overhead and could potentially slow down replies.

Yes/No

(B) Advanced Ticket Settings

Assign Post List Variable to Staff Replies

Include the entire history of the ticket to date in replies sent by staff members. This does add overhead and could potentially slow down replies.

Yes/No



We would like to turn on/off Ticket History in Staff Replies. Which option do we use?

Hi Pete,

The first option will automatically append the history of the ticket to staff replies. The second option will make available a history variable for the purposes of code customisations/template modifications.

It seems to be a bug that both settings are using the same description. I will add it to the tracker.
