Ticket text truncated because of HTML?

My first Ticket text shows up truncated at the "<" symbol (that is, all text after the "<" symbol is not shown on the screen).

Presumably, this is because of HTML, where "<" is used to start an HTML tag. I realize that if I replace "<" with "&less;", the Ticket text will not show up truncated anymore. However, I cannot expect users to send e-mail messages with "&less;" instead of "<".

Is there a good way to adust a setting somewhere, to ignore HTML in Ticket text?

I suppose that I figured out a quick work-around:

As long as "<" is followed by a space (and presumably ">" is preceded by a space?), this does not truncate the Ticket messages.

I also found a post in the Bugs/Request section about this. I must have missed that earlier.
