21-08-2007, 11:01 PM
Hi everyone, Basically, I'd like the following to happen: User sends an email to support@companyone.com and get an autoresponder back from "Company One Support". User sends an email to support@companytwo.com and get an autoresponder back from "Company Two Support". Right now I've got a new department for each "company", a new template group for each company, and I've modified the autoresponder template in each template group to customize it for each company. But unfortunately, every email comes from "General Company Name". The reply email changes correctly based on what I entered in the email queue for that email address, but the "From" display name is always the default. Am I missing something here? Is there a way for the autoresponders to be sent from different company names depending on the email address the customer sent the original message to? Basically I want to create a professional appearance for a number of sub-brands. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Which version of Kayako are you using? I believe there was a bug for this issue in v3.10.04 stable build which has been fixed in the latest stable build. I recomend you upgrade to 3.11.01 now that it has been marked as stable. It will fix the bug as it was fixed in two versions up from yours as well as over a hundred other bugs according to the announcement. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |
