User Ticket Creation - CCing other users - 17-07-2008, 08:12 PM

Is there a feature in SupportSuite where a user creates a ticket and can CC other users when submitting? Our company is using the software for IT related issues and this would be a very useful feature. For example:

If a printer is malfunctioning in a certain department and a user submits a ticket, is it possible that when the user submits the ticket that it can notify other users in that same department so everyone is aware?

You need to enable the option "Users Can Specify Custom Recipients" under:
Admin CP > Settings > Tickets > Users Can Specify Custom Recipients > Yes

I have enabled this option, but it's not quite what I am looking for. Basically we want users to be able to CC other users when initially submitting a ticket, rather than staff doing it when replying to a ticket. This is to prevent multiple submissions of the same request and so users in the same company department are aware of tickets that have been submitted by other users.
