Using Contacts - 22-07-2007, 04:03 AM

Hi

Is it possible to add regular new notes to a contact that has been created?

I'd like to use the contact list in Kayako to keep records of telephone conversations with people, like a basic contact manager but shared through all our users.

It sounds fairly simple, but I cant find a way!

I would love to know why a new support registration is not made into a contact and then everything is not trackable from that point forward... but notes and attachments to a contact would be a huge plus..

Especially for those of us that need to track serial numbers or service plans for each customer...

I use the contacts, and place the users e-mail address in the contacts. Then when a ticket is filled out I can see the history of all tickets. The only problem is the contacts only hold 3 e-mail address fields. You can however add custom fields to your contacts, even text boxes.
