Question using liveresponse with SSL support suite URL? - 16-10-2007, 12:49 AM

I'm trying to use liveresponse with my supportsuite on a secure URL https://

The URL in my general settings matches the URL in the account setup in LiveResponse, but I'm getting an error in live response that says:

(see attached screenshot)

Any ideas how to make LiveResponse work with support suite on a secure URL?

Look at System -> Absolute support for SSL/Non-SSL pages. Broomer posted a good tutorial on getting this to work.

Thanks for the help so far, Craig. I actually read that thread earlier when I was trying to figure out how to "just" have my chat icons on my site work under a secure server.

After reading that thread (and trying what boomer posted unsuccessfully), I decided to move my whole kayako installation under SSL.

After I made the switch, all the chat buttons worked fine, but what I'm asking about is the LiveResponse Windows Application.

The one where you can monitor who's on your site, answer chats from visitors, etc.

That's where I'm getting the above error.

Here's what we had to do to get it working:

Login to the LiveResponse Windows App, go to Tools > Options > Accounts - edit the account and check the "make default account" checkbox. Save. Close the app and restart the app and the error went away.
