Custom fields -> Set placement - 06-05-2008, 02:54 PM

When I create custom fields for staff ticket creation, having them at the very bottom is not the right place for them as this disrupts the flow of the ticket. We should be able to choose where we want to place the custom fields within the ticket window. For example, it would be nice to be able to move the custom fields before the "contents" box.

Yeah I can understand that...my PM to you was asking for your help regarding modifying the template to move the custom field above the contents box. You had given someone on this forum directions but I was not able to follow due to my lack of coding knowledge. I was looking for more direct instructions.

It would be a fair amount of work as you would need to have each custom field listed individually in the templates.

We'll look to implement this in Version 4.

At the moment, you would need to create the fields and then hard code them into the templates.
