Ability to Print Billing Information as well as ticket Info - 21-01-2008, 04:44 PM

I am using the Billing Part of the Ticket and it would be good to have an option to Print the Billing Info out as well when you print the Ticket off - Regards Adam

I would like to see some billing enhancement like this as well, even if it's just a report screen or something. Right now how we handle billable tickets is we have a status called "Billable" that techs assign the ticket to, then the accounting person (me) has to use a filter to find all tickets with the billing status, and manually look at each one, create an invoice in Quickbooks, assign the case status to Closed, etc.

Ideally, I would LOVE a report that just shows me all unbilled tickets (Tickets with Status = Billable works for me) and summarizes the ticket subject, client information on the ticket, billing entries and the grand total of billable info. Maybe a dynamically expandable page so I can see the ticket notes if I want, or a link to the actual ticket thread or something, but this simple "sum" report of tickets needed to be billed out with the ability to change the status would be great!!!

I would like to see exactly the same in the new release if possible, with addition to the potential reports system - If we could pull a report of Worked Hours and Billable hours that would be great. Any sort of invoicing system integrated with Kayako will be such a big plus for any consulting. At this point these fields are just a teaser. Custom SQL queries do somewhat the work but it takes so much more time to bring up some functions and again you can only go so far because of Zend optimization.

Right now we are forced to use Modernbill and Kayako hand by hand to be able to track time for prepaid SLAs that we have with different customers. It allows us (in a very painful way) to assure that there is one unified login per client, rather than 4-5 employees of the same company submitting tickers that are all scattered. Then we have to go back and create the proper group, etc. etc. etc.

A membership system in conjunction with billing functionality is going to make our life so much easier. It will also tie up with SLA rules, etc.

We will hope for the best.
