Custom fields -> Ability to easily reference them in templates - 14-09-2007, 08:05 PM

This may already be possible but I could not find it in the manual or on the forums.


In our case, if we have techs in the Datacenter and a reboot request is entered with a server label (custom required field), it would be very helpful to have that come in the page for a quick reboot without having to find a workstation and consult the ticket.

No this is not possible at the moment although this has been requested by other clients as well. I suppose this has been added in the feature request list for v4.

Just to add to this ticket - I'd certanly like to have this feature too. We do reboots all the time, and having customers make their own subject lines means we are forced to log into a computer just to see what machine needs a reboot
