I don't think there is a way to do this currently...
I would like the ability to have custom fields that are only "required" when closing a ticket.
A couple of examples:
Resolution Code:- Technical Resolution
- User Training
- Provided Documentation
- Answered Question
Problem Source:- Defect
- Misconfiguration
- User Error
- Product Delivery
- Wrong Information Provided
- Missing Skills
- Documentation Error
- 3rd Party Product
This would help us to evaluate where we can best spend our time/resources in making our product/process/user-training better.
Giving us the ability in the product of making "required" fields at close in the custom fields section, would be of great benefit to many I believe.
