Custom fields -> Custom fields for staff + more locations like at ticket close - 30-04-2007, 04:19 PM

Hi,

I don't think there is a way to do this currently...

I would like the ability to have custom fields that are only "required" when closing a ticket.

A couple of examples:

Resolution Code:
  • Technical Resolution
  • User Training
  • Provided Documentation
  • Answered Question

Problem Source:
  • Defect
  • Misconfiguration
  • User Error
  • Product Delivery
  • Wrong Information Provided
  • Missing Skills
  • Documentation Error
  • 3rd Party Product

This would help us to evaluate where we can best spend our time/resources in making our product/process/user-training better.

Giving us the ability in the product of making "required" fields at close in the custom fields section, would be of great benefit to many I believe.

Features I need asap:
1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.

This is also a good way to ensure that the ticket is filled in with the necessary info before it is closed.
