Feature request: ability to define Time Zone parameter for customers - 06-03-2008, 10:50 AM

Currently, only staff users have the option to override the time zone settings to reflect their own (via the Staff User Preferences in the Staff Control Panel). As to the customers, all of them get the system default Time Zone and this parameter can't be changed.

As we have customers all over the world, we think that this can cause certain inconvenience for most of them, as all of them (regardless of the country they live: the ones who live in Australia as well as the other from the USA or Germany) get the default time in the tickets. And in most cases teh default time doesn't correspond to their time.

That would be great if Kayako could add the Time Zone field in User Details -> General Information. Thus, we would be able to define the customers' Time Zone while creating an account for a new customer.

Actually, I haven't found this request. Anyway, if that already exists, it's even better, I have more chances then

Jamie,

Are you planning to implement this feature or anything similar? I haven't found it in the l'Will Implement" or "Now Implemented" lists...

It should be there. but will it not interfere with SLA and other setttings?
